Perth Recruitment Company Managing Director Harriet Manesi Banda-Zwaan

Harriet is Zambian born and immigrated to Australia with a clear vision and dream in mind - to create a platform that allowed for African people to be seen and given opportunities on a global scale.

While studying to obtain her Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Human Resources Management and major of Science in Information Technology, she had no choice but to work. She did jobs such as cleaning, kitchen hand, aged care and factory worker. Having done these jobs, it gave Harriet insight into the complexities of what it means to be a migrant, trying to succeed in a new country.

Balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship her passion and sheer determination kept her going. Harriet has pursued a successful career within the field of Human Resources accumulating well over 10 years worth of experience. This includes experience within the mining and civil construction industries.

Harriet goes on to say, “My main aim is to recruit people from diverse backgrounds and place them within the Australian and global market with the highest confidence that the client will satisfactorily be pleased with the level of work ethic and skills of the employee”.

Mike has a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Copperbelt University in Zambia and a Diploma in Financial Administration (DFA) from Zambia Insurance Business College Trust in Zambia. 

He has over 16 years of management experience in sales and marketing management. Mike’s prior associations have been with ABSA Life Zambia Limited as Corporate Relationship Manager and Regional Sales Manager. He also worked for Zambia Telecommunication Company Limited as Retail Outlet Manager and Madison Life Zambia Limited as Financial Advisor. 

He brings in a wealth of experience in business development and strategies implementation, client relationship management and governance and compliance. Mike advises that, “Passion is the motivation needed to achieve any goals in ones life.”

Kaoma is an Administrator by profession with over 15 years’ experience in operations and administration. She has a Diploma in Commerce and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, majored in Management from SWAN TAFE and Murdoch University in Perth, W.A respectively. 

In addition she has a certificate inProject Management. Her work experience includes working for an international NGO,local NGO and was recently with a Private School were she headed the administrationof the institution for 6+ years.Kaoma is currently one of the Directors at Bantu Africa Group. Kaoma aims to “help people in an environment that will help them grow professionally and benefit from their growth”.

Ilitonga is a Zambian with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree received from the University of Notre Dame Australia. Additionally she has a certified SME finance expert qualification from Frankfurt school of Finance in Germany.

She has 11 year’s experience in banking with expertise in customer service and relationship management.

She has gained her experience from the United Bank for Africa Zambia, in institutional banking relationship management, and at the First Capital Bank Zambia and Madison Finance Zambia.

With a wealth of knowledge and experience, she is an expert in sales & marketing as well as customer service skills. Ilitonga aims to “be part of a team that helps contribute to a person’s growth professionally.”
